Superior wines from France, Italy and Spain

The company has operated since 1975, starting with some fruitful connections with various family owned chateaux in Bordeaux and the Nantais region.  Some of the labels we first imported then, such as Chateau de La Bidiére and Clos St Martin, are still featured on our current list.

From 1978, we have brought to Jersey the world famous products of Marchesi di Barolo.

During the last few years, we have expanded our range with the products of Tommasi from Verona and of Dario D’Angelo, producers of truly magnificent wines in Abruzzo.  From Dario D’Angelo we also import a superb extra virgin olive oil.

In Spain  we have found a very successful young company, owned and run by the Santiago Ijalba family, in the Rioja Valley.  Apart from a great range of traditional red wines, they now produce a white and a rosé of superb quality.

Our Champagne Bernard Figuet comes with a Certificate of Origin which ensures its provenance and high quality. Both white and rosé are very much in demand.

Birra Moretti, Italy’s favourite beer, has proved very popular with our regulars.

Gorey Wine Company also offers a range of hand made church, decorative and garden candles.

André is a keen beekeeper and we are now proud to stock some of the superb Jersey honey  produced by his bees.
